Happy New Year fun-folks!
This 2023/4 I tried a few 'New things' from my resolutions, which included being sober at a Russian New Year party (which had lots of games, goose, and fireworks). It was great fun, but I learned how hard it is to stay awake beyond 1 am without alcohol, and that I feel rough the next day regardless. Go figure! My introvert hangover was harsh.
As I mentioned in last week’s post about endings, I love making a list of goals every year! If you are a list lover like so many of us are, then this prompt is for you.
We are all drawn to lists. Our brains gravitate towards information that has been sorted, broken down, carved into neat piles. A list is a tidy draw of words. A stack of ideas. It pleases the brain. I think that's why we see so many articles and features that use bullet points and numbering, and why we see many in competition long lists.
When we divide or segment, we conquer.
